A Rift in Time

Throughout time, there is and always has been the legend of the Doctor, and how he always is in great battles with his arch enemies; one of his biggest enemy being the Dalek. What are Daleks, you might be asking yourself. Daleks are aliens; Aliens that hide away in robotic suits. They always have the need to take over the Earth since their own planet was destroyed. Not many Daleks remain, but yet they always seem to find a way to come back swinging. However the Doctor, in his many regenerated forms, is and always will be there to stop them. Their battle is a never ending war with no winner and no loser. But in their greatest battle to date, one girl will become the beacon that splits the two for good.

Prologue
“Exterminate! No Survivors!”
The Daleks invaded Earth for the upteenth time and raged war once again on the Doctor, attempting to destroy him and his friends once and for all. The plan was to take out the Doctor first and then take over the planet Earth once and for all. They knew it wouldn’t be easy, and they’d once again lose most of their existence, but they had a mission, and weren’t going to stop till they succeeded. The war raged on. Many Daleks and many human lives were lost that day. The Doctor was in hysteria and wounded. He took shelter in his TARDIS to recover before continuing to fight. His arm was seriously wounded and blood dribbled down. He took the necessary aide to his arm and wrapped it up. He gasped for hair for the pain had zapped him of his energy. He had recently lost his companions which left him alone in the universe once again.
One the other side of the city, a female Dalek wandered the streets. She didn’t want to join the battle and tried to avoid it as much as possible, though people still ran and hid from her. She didn’t mind; The humans would be safe that way. She found her way to an open field and stopped to rest. That’s when she heard a funny sound. Crying! She headed towards the sound till she came across a very large and old oak tree. Beneath the roots was a hollow. The female Dalek opened up her suit and shifted herself to the ground to get a better look inside. There she found a fox; an animal that is found here on earth. However this was an interesting fox. It did not look like the ones she has witnessed before. The creature growled at her for she was protecting something. But the female dalek realized that the beast was hurt and was close to death. The fox then realized that the creature there, wasn’t a threat any longer, and thus revealed what she was hiding. It was a baby, but not like its mother. It had human and fox qualities to her. The dalek was confused as the mother pushed her baby towards her. The fox just smiled and feel to the ground, dead. The Dalek was shocked but picked up the baby. She smiled for she now realized what the mother fox was asking. ‘Take care of my baby, and raise her well.’
The female Dalek took the baby aboard the ship where she found her husband, the leader of the daleks. She showed him the baby, and he grew furious.
“I said no survivors. The baby must die.”
“But she is not a human. She is different. And when she grows up, we can teach her to kill the Doctor.”
“No survivors. Kill the baby.”
“Please. She will be raised as a Dalek. She could help.”
The leader sat there in thought. He didn’t know what to do. The female was persistent and thus he gave in.
“Take her with you. Don’t let the others find her. She will be raised as a Dalek and help us kill the Doctor.”
And so the female took the child to her chamber where she would raise the baby.
The war came to an end with another victory for the Doctor, but this time, it didn’t matter to the Daleks. They had a new secret weapon. And when they came in touch with the Doctor again, he will surely die.
